What can I say? Thank you Canon! You really seam to nail it this time!
Put the 7d in combo with the Aja Ki pro and you'll got your self a camera that can compare with cameras like the red! Now I really can't wait for the 5dmk3 to come out; 25p uncompressed HDMI output from a full sensor? Uhhh, this is going to be a beast!

Price: 1700 $ body only
Pre-order: amazon
EOS 7D Listing Date: scheduled for the end of September 2009

Update: many example videos have showed up on the net, check: here here and here and on many other places on the web. Most of these examples videos are baldy done and it is hard to really judge how good the camera is from those examples. Still I can sense a big image quality (IQ) difference between the 5dmk2 and the 7d in favor of the 5dmk2. The dynamic range of the 7D just seams to be awful :/
