I' ve got a job as steady-cam operator in Cameroon. While I was there, I was fascinated about the life story of a young director who grew up on the streets of Yaounde, thrown out from his own family he took shelter in the hole-way of a local cinema. The only thing he dreamed about was to become a director. Many years later he came back to Cameroon to shoot his first feature film. I used my spare time on this production to make a small guerrilla style (no tripod, no crew, no script, no plan) documentary about this very interesting person.

I shot about 20 hours of footage, here is a first draft, nothing final!
